Because the project is still in an early stage, we would appreciate any comments, questions or answers on questions posted in this list. To start up the discussion a little we will describe some areas where we would like to know what others thinkt.

• Automatic detection of possible high stress areas in constructions, and automatic modification of constructions to avoid high stresses. Is it possible to avoid a full FEM analysis?
• In order to get prosthetists to use CAD/CAM for making BK-prosthesis, what are the most important advantages that it should have over present methods? What could keep prosthetists from using it?
• Developments in rapid 3D prototyping. What are the newest techniques appliable on the manufacturing of limb prostheses? What can be expected in future with respect to production costs and production time?
