These pages are a reflection of REHAB Tech activities as part of the Managers' forum and as such are for historical reference. At the cessation of Commonwealth funding in 2003 most States and Territories did not fund REHAB Tech to continue these activities.

REHAB Tech's activities are now governed by direct contracted negotiation with various clients.

Purpose:

As a result of the dissolution of the Commonwealth Artificial Limb Scheme, the States and Territories are operating distinct state focussed schemes for the administration of the publicly funded provision of prosthetic devices to eligible clients. There is a need to provide a forum for discussion of relevant matters to provide continuity and compatibility of prosthetic service provision across Australia for amputees.

Areas of Interest:

Membership:

 The Manager (or delegate) of the REHAB Tech Supporter Contract in each State or Territory,  one of whom shall be elected as the Chairman of the Forum, and
The Manager of REHABTech (or delegate) who shall act as the Secretary to the Forum

Meetings:
At least once annually,
Ad hoc, as required by circumstances.
