conducted a 1 1/2 hour video conference on the new microprocessor controller for myoelectric hand and wrist, the ProControl 2 from Motion Control.

"More sensitive and smoother in control than other myoelectric options, the ProControl 2 also features a new Lithium Ion battery pack, a very small compact shape, and some important features which the computerized controller offers:

• on-screen training and adjustment,
• AutoCal, which can allow the wearer to readjust the sensitivity of the controller throughout the day, to respond to muscle fatigue.

This seminar will be of great interest to any practitioner who would like to see the way the prosthetic hands of the future will be fitted and their wearers trained."
